It’s that time of year again…sort of. This Friday Four L’s is offering a Christmas in July event featuring live music, deals on drinks, and giveaways.
Corntastic Weekend at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment – Friday, July 18-Saturday, July 19
The corniest event this weekend–yeah, we went there.
Gates open at 5 pm and the first race will begin at 7:15pm. A free ear of grilled Jersey corn will be available to all guests, all weekend. On Friday night guests can join the Corn Carrying Contest (after Race 2) and the Corn Husking Contest (after Race 4). Winners of each contest will receive a $50 betting voucher. On Saturday night both contests will take place again as well as the Corn Eating Contest (after Race 8) in which 10 randomly chosen participants will chow down on as much corn as they can in 3 minutes. The first place winner receives$500, followed by $250 for second place and $100 for third place. Guests can sign up at the Promotions Table for each contest and they will all take place in the Backyard/East Apron.
Guests can enter to win tickets to One Direction at MetLife Stadium.
Saturday night is Comedy Night in The Gallery featuring YouTube Senstation, Vic DiBietetto, best known for “Gotta get the bread and milk!”, Gotham Comedy Club’s Fred Rubino, Broadway Comedy Club’s Regina DiCicco, Borgata’s Tommy Goochand Comic Strip Lives’ Steve Levy. NBC4 New York Giants Health & Fitness Expo – Saturday, July 19-Sunday, July 20
For the second year, NBC4 is hosting a Health & Fitness Expo at Metlife Stadium in the Meadowlands. This expo gives exhibitors a chance to showcase their products and services to expand their business and reach out to a larger health and fitness audience. The expo is for attendees to learn more about products in the market that are suitable for their own personal lifestyles.
